What is the Fish Index?
The Fish Index is a collection system that tracks every unique fish type your brainrots catch. Check your Index to see which fish you've discovered. Collecting sets grants permanent rewards, such as cash bonuses.
Key Feature: The Fish Index tracks your progress through two main indexes:
- Brainrot Index: Shows all the units you've collected, including Robux-exclusive units
- Fish Index: Displays the various types of fish your units have caught (Salmon, Jellyfish, Seahorse, etc.)
Fish Index Rewards
Every fish your brainrots catch gets logged in the Fish Index. When you complete entries, you unlock permanent cash multipliers:

⚡ These bonuses are PERMANENT. They survive rebirth. Better than any code reward. This is why you want diverse brainrots catching different fish types, not just raw income.
How Fish Are Caught
Fish Rarity by Brainrot Tier
- Common fish: Caught by all brainrots, especially Commons and Uncommons
- Rare fish: More likely from Rare+ brainrots
- Epic fish: Primarily from Epic and Legendary brainrots
- Legendary fish: Only from Legendary and Mythic brainrots
- Mythic fish: Exclusive to Mythic brainrots
Fishing Luck Impact
Upgrading your Fishing Luck increases the chance of catching rarer, more valuable fish. Higher luck = more diverse catches = faster index completion. This upgrade directly increases rare fish spawn rates.
Fish Index Tips
Diversity Over Power: Higher rarity brainrots catch rarer fish. Different brainrots catch different fish types. Check your index regularly to see what you're missing.
Keep Variety: Don't just chase the highest income brainrots. A diverse team fills your index faster than a team of identical Legendaries. Keep at least one of each brainrot type you hatch.
Time-Based Fish: Some fish only appear at certain times or conditions. Event fish often have unique requirements. Participate in events for exclusive fish.

The Fish Index isn't just a collection system. It's your path to permanent power. Those multipliers stack with rebirth bonuses, upgrades, and everything else.
Example Calculation:
- With 50 fish types (+50% cash) and Rebirth 3 (+30% multiplier): 1.95x base income
- With 100 fish types (+100%): 2.6x base income
- The difference compounds over time
