Beginner's Guide to My Fishing Brainrots

1. How My Fishing Brainrots Works

The gameplay loop is dead simple:

  1. Buy eggs from the conveyor
  2. Hatch brainrot pets
  3. Brainrots fish automatically in the pond
  4. Fish go into boxes
  5. Sell boxes for cash
  6. Buy better eggs
  7. Upgrade your brainrots
  8. Rebirth for permanent bonuses
  9. Repeat forever

That's it. The whole game. Your brainrots work automatically, earning money even while you're offline.

2. Your First 30 Minutes

When you spawn, you get some starting cash. Here's exactly what to do:

  1. Walk to the egg conveyor (big machine in the center)
  2. Buy the cheapest egg available
  3. Place it on your plot
  4. Wait for it to hatch
  5. Watch your first brainrot start fishing

Your starter brainrot is probably Common rarity. It fishes slow. That's fine. You need cash flow before you can be picky. Once you have one brainrot working, buy another egg. Fill your available slots. More brainrots = more fish = more money.

2. Managing Your Brainrots

Base Capacity

You have 10 slots on your initial floor. Your primary goal early on should be to fill all these spots, regardless of how "weak" the units might seem at first.

Early Units

Start with basic units like Tongue Tongue Sahor and Pippy Potato. As you save more cash (e.g., $12k to $25k range), you can afford higher-tier eggs like the "Cappuccino Baron," which significantly boost your income.

3. Upgrading for Maximum Profit

Don't just collect units—make them stronger!

  • Leveling Up: Spend cash to upgrade your units. Focus your money on your highest-earning unit first. For example, upgrading a "Ballerina Cappuccino" can increase its output to over $4,500 per fish
  • Conveyors: Saving up for better conveyors (e.g., $75k) improves your chances of getting better eggs faster

4. Understanding the Index

Brainrot Index

Shows all the units you've collected, including Robux-exclusive units.

Fish Index

Displays the various types of fish your units have caught (Salmon, Jellyfish, Seahorse, etc.).

5. Strategic Tips for New Players

  • Speed is Key: The game rewards fast cycles. Keep moving between your fishing box and the sell area to keep your cash flowing
  • Know When to Stop: Don't wait too long for extremely expensive eggs (like the 800k eggs) in the very early game. It's better to have a full base of mid-tier units than one high-tier unit and empty slots
  • Check Your Progress: Keep an eye on your stats. You can see how many total fish you've caught compared to other players to gauge your progress
